Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist other herd technicians with routine animal care and general farm tasks to support animal welfare.
  • •Feed, water, vaccinate, and perform general animal husbandry including basic veterinary procedures.
  • •Move animals and maintain efficient animal flows while processing piglets (e.g., inject medications, castrate, dock tails, ear notch).
  • •Sanitize and wash multiple farm areas using high-pressure equipment and follow standard procedures and training guides.
  • •Maintain accurate production information and department records; assist with facility and equipment maintenance and barn/office cleanliness/laundry duties.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16.75 - 18.75 hourly
