Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the transformation of DBA teams toward Platform Engineering and SRE practices, including automation-first and reliability-focused operating models.
  • •Develop engineering standards, operational processes, and best practices to improve consistency and scale across the database estate.
  • •Identify and eliminate repetitive manual activities by analyzing ServiceNow incidents, requests, and recurring work patterns; reduce ticket volume, overhead, and technical debt.
  • •Lead brownfield modernization, standardization, and simplification for database platforms to improve resiliency and migration readiness.
  • •Establish reliability engineering and observability practices, plus lifecycle management for patching, upgrades, platform currency, and compliance remediation.
