Key Responsibilities

  • •Review clients’ policies and procedures to identify gaps in financial crime frameworks against AML and other relevant requirements.
  • •Conduct in-depth assessment of customers’ activities by reviewing data, financial transactions, and other relevant information.
  • •Analyze complex data to identify patterns and trends linked to suspicious activity; identify emerging risks and recommend mitigating controls.
  • •Prepare clear client review summaries for management, including control recommendations, and ensure review/control implementations meet agreed timelines.
  • •Maintain accurate client review logs; review internal suspicious activity reports (iSARs) and provide recommendations; report cases to financial crime units and respond to law enforcement requests within deadlines.

Key Requirements

  • •At least one year of compliance experience, ideally transaction monitoring, onboarding, or KYC within a bank or other financial institution.
  • •Knowledge of UK and European financial crime regulations including AML, fraud, KYC/KYB, due diligence, and sanctions.
  • •Excellent written English to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to varied audiences.
  • •Strong problem-solving skills with confidence to think independently and creatively.
