Key Responsibilities

  • •Support transformation of ZLAPS into ZAPS by determining methodologies, documenting requirements, and testing.
  • •Review issues for current ZLAPS/ZAPS users and advise on potential methodology changes.
  • •Support RTAD (risk transfer) tool used by transactional actuaries across Zurich for captive programs.
  • •Partner with LOB teams (WC, GL, Auto) to ensure tool outputs align with portfolio estimates.
  • •Support other pricing tool transformations as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 87,200 - 217,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •For Senior Actuarial Analyst: Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice (including Associates degree) OR Bachelor’s degree, plus 5+ actuarial exams with 2+ years actuarial experience (or 3+ exams with 3+ years).
  • •For Actuary: Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years actuarial experience with FCAS (or equivalent) OR 10+ years with ACAS (or equivalent).
  • •Complete 5+ actuarial exams (Senior Actuarial Analyst path) or demonstrate FCAS/ACAS designation (Actuary path).
  • •Comfort working with complex tools/models.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with underwriters and actuaries across lines of business.
