Job Summary

Lead a residential mortgage sales team responsible for originating loans for Financial Centers and outside referrals. Own team production and day-to-day management of Mortgage Loan Originators, including loan structuring, pricing, marketing-dollar prioritization, and KPI reporting. Build referral relationships, recruit and onboard new loan officers, and coach performance. Partner with Fulfillment Operations to drive closed volume while monitoring operational, risk, and compliance issues and maintaining customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and foster referral source relationships with realtors, builders, and other professional/personal contacts.
•Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and train Mortgage Loan Originators; manage under-performers via performance improvement plans.
•Manage personal and team production using local and Bancorp reporting and KPIs.
•Build strategic and tactical plans to drive volume growth in the assigned area and conduct business plan reviews with the sales team.
•Monitor operational, risk, and compliance issues, ensure adherence to loan originator quality standards, and serve as an intermediary for loan issues with processing and underwriting managers.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED equivalent; two- or four-year college degree preferred.
•3-5 years residential mortgage sales experience required.
•In-depth knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio guidelines.
•In-depth knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
