Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and measuring ingredients.
•Execute simple cooking tasks (grilling, frying, sautéing, baking) under supervision of senior chefs.
•Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation.
•Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas and equipment.
•Assist in stock rotation and inventory management to ensure freshness and minimize waste.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent, and Certificate in food service or cooking (as stated)
•Minimum 3 years of working experience in a kitchen, with 2 years of relevant experience; GCC experience is a plus
•Knowledge of food safety principles, proper handling, storage and temperature control
•Understanding of fundamental cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, frying, baking, roasting) and ability to follow recipes accurately
•Basic knowledge of kitchen tools, equipment and proper maintenance
