Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final dimensional and visual inspections to verify conformance to drawings, specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
  • •Operate CMM equipment and conventional inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, pin gages, surface plates, optical comparator) and measure components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
  • •Create, load, verify, and execute approved CMM inspection programs using applicable CMM software; ensure calibration status, proper setup, probe qualification, fixture condition, and safe operation.
  • •Interpret complex engineering drawings, 3D models, blueprints, and GD&T requirements to select inspection methods and measurement strategies.
  • •Document inspection results and nonconforming conditions in inspection reports, First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), quality records, and company systems.

  • •Three years minimum experience in quality inspection of aerospace products.
  • •Minimum two years hands-on experience operating CMM equipment in a precision manufacturing, aerospace, or similarly regulated environment.

  • •Relocation is not offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Irvine, CA (92618) facility.
