Job Summary

Operate a DOT-compliant trailer truck to distribute materials and support jobsite needs while following company safety policies, DOT guidelines, and OSHA/MSHA requirements. Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections, monitor vehicle gauges, and safely load/unload materials. Handle minor servicing and keep the truck clean and orderly, while reporting issues to managers and assisting with paving crew tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment.
•Perform daily pre/post trip inspections and document compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies.
•Obey applicable laws and follow dispatch instructions while operating the vehicle and monitoring gauges.
•Load and unload equipment or materials safely, including potential hand or shovel unloading.
•Perform minor servicing and maintenance; assist in training less-experienced employees and perform general labor duties with a paving crew as needed.

Key Requirements
