Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and implementation of technically complex well engineering solutions, including well proposals, Basis of Design (BoD), and Well Operation Programs.
  • •Provide technical leadership and guidance to less experienced Well Engineers, supporting their professional development.
  • •Ensure technical integrity of well planning, engineering design, and operational execution.
  • •Develop, review, and obtain approval for Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documents while maintaining effective cost control.
  • •Conduct risk assessments, oversee engineering studies to resolve recurring issues, and coordinate daily operational meetings to monitor performance and adjust plans as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, preferably Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum of 8 years of experience in well services, well engineering, or drilling/completions operations.
  • •Valid Well Control Certification required.
  • •Strong technical, operational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • •Well supervisory experience and multidisciplinary operational experience are preferred.
