Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete contract job setup from bidding through accounting software (SOX compliance), and assist with contract review of revenue and job costs.
  • •Process bills and manage subcontract ledger payments, including tracking retainage, lien waivers, and subcontractor documentation for project closeout.
  • •Facilitate bond release and cancellation, and support project managers with contract compliance for pre-bid, pre-award, and ongoing phases.
  • •Prepare and submit Connecticut DOT contract compliance reports, and DBE/WBE/SBE quarterly payment and final payment verification documents, plus utilization reports.
  • •Support accounts payable by creating and receiving against purchase orders, matching invoices to purchase orders/receipts/subcontract agreements, assisting vendors with discrepancies, and supporting month-end/year-end closing and vendor set-up requests.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •2 years of administering contracts.
  • •Accounting and/or job cost experience is preferred but not required.
