Job Summary

Lead quality assurance and governance for large-scale data center construction projects, partnering with owners, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design standards and best practices are correctly applied. Track and forecast critical milestones, monitor multiple projects, manage supplier and design-team interfaces, and respond to RFIs from the field. Produce project status reports, perform independent reviews of drawings and submittals, and provide guidance across cost control, value engineering, and constructability.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and collaborate with project stakeholders, ensuring effective internal communication and consistent delivery to the client.
•Analyze and track critical milestone activities to prevent schedule slip, and forecast/update key milestones for multiple projects.
•Verify project governance, processes, and systems; apply best practices across projects and ensure approved design standards are correctly implemented.
•Manage interfaces between suppliers and local design teams using monthly trackers and weekly reviews; respond rapidly to RFIs from the field.
•Produce formal project status reports and conduct independent reviews of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines, and costs; support cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or an applicable bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.
•Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience working with mechanical systems in the built environment.
•Strong organizational and management skills with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively across teams.
•Background in design or construction with mechanical or BMS controls experience, or experience supporting quality control processes in a vendor equipment factory.
•Proficiency managing construction documents (specifications, contract drawings, equipment submittals, RFIs) and tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Project, and Smartsheets.
