Job Summary

Maintain and repair production equipment, tools, and machinery at the plant. Install, adjust, and repair machinery and special-purpose equipment, using hand and power tools, welding/cutting tools, and lifting equipment as needed. Troubleshoot and test malfunctioning equipment, replace faulty parts and electrical components, and perform general repairs to plant structures while keeping work areas clean and safe.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and repair equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned.
•Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, heavy trucks, and special-purpose machines.
•Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and change parts.
•Weld and use cutting torch as required; perform general repairs to plant structures.
•Test, troubleshoot, and replace faulty parts/electrical components; keep the work area clean and orderly.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent with comparable training, education, or experience.
•Technical or vocational school certification or equivalent training/experience.
•Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals; follow step-by-step instructions.
•Mechanical aptitude and ability; skilled in using hand and power tools.
•Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, and related areas is preferred.
