Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform raw material USP verifications and method validation, including protocol generation, testing, and report writing.
  • •Execute raw material testing and support release activities for engineering and validation batches for new product transfers into Wilson.
  • •Support the transition of raw material testing from R&D to QC laboratory for commercialization, including personnel training and procedure generation.
  • •Support analytical equipment qualification and troubleshoot/improve existing methods, procedures, and instrument hardware/software.
  • •Set up stability studies in LIMS and prepare internal documentation and laboratory policies/procedures for approval prior to production start-up.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in chemistry (or related field) plus at least 2 years of laboratory experience, or an equivalent education/experience combination.
  • •Experience with laboratory equipment including HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, Karl-Fischer, polarimeter, UV-VIS, FTIR, Raman, viscometer, and Rotap sieve analysis.
  • •Experience performing USP testing (wet chemistry and related parameters such as ROI/LOD/conductivity).
  • •Understanding of separation mechanisms, chromatography, and interpretation of results.
  • •Proficiency with MS Windows and tools including Access, Excel, and Word.
