Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide preventive maintenance and repairs for complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment and tools.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and diagnose root causes using service data.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and maintain service vehicle readiness and cleanliness when field mechanic travel is required.
  • •Maintain complete and timely daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders).
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts and help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude with knowledge of schematics and diagrams, plus extensive construction equipment knowledge.

  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; experience in field service/maintenance/repair preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must lift up to 50 pounds and meet safety-sensitive requirements (e.g., drug screen).
