Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely perform installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of heavy rotating machinery used in power generation applications.
  • •Read schematics and technical documentation to determine proper work procedures.
  • •Dismantle and assemble machinery and equipment using hand, power, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
  • •Move and position machinery and parts using hoists, cranes, chain falls, and trucks.
  • •Align and inspect machinery using precision tools and instruments, and maintain control of tools, equipment, and supplies.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in a technical field, preferably a Gas Turbine Systems Technician diploma.
  • •Minimum two (2) years of experience maintaining, dismantling, and installing industrial machinery and service equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, fans, generators, turbines).
  • •Minimum experience using relevant tooling and equipment to execute maintenance and installation tasks.
  • •Good understanding of latest technology and innovation used in maintenance/operations.
  • •Knowledge of applicable legal, quality, and HSSE requirements and power plant maintenance practices; willing to travel and work shifts/in hardship locations.
