Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time over required routes while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain shipping paperwork (invoices, bills of lading) and perform routine truck service such as checking oil, water, gasoline, and air.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated.
  • •Pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.
  • •Be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and sit in a trailer cab for long periods.
