Key Responsibilities

  • •Define test plan/design, develop test cases, and create test scripts to validate SSD firmware for enterprise and datacenter NVMe products.
  • •Collaborate with firmware development teams to find defects and validate fixes using grey- and whitebox tests.
  • •Apply NVMe/PCIe and NVMe Cloud SSD specification knowledge and address customer-specific requirements.
  • •Create and execute validation strategies; review, track, and document test results and sightings.
  • •Drive issues to closure by interfacing with other product development teams; integrate tests into automated environments and support test execution teams.

  • •7+ years of experience in SSD firmware validation.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • •Strong understanding of whitebox and greybox testing methods for enterprise/datacenter SSD firmware.
  • •Hands-on debugging experience for NVMe protocol issues using Lecroy/JDSU analyzers.
  • •Experience preparing test plans covering access patterns, NVMe protocols, firmware test hooks, and VS commands for one or more FW areas (front end, back end, FTL, security).
