Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct supplier process assessments across manufacturing methods, equipment, tooling, metrology, and process controls.
  • •Prepare technical assessment reports and supplier development actions, executing development plans and tracking actions to closure.
  • •Support manufacturing readiness by providing time studies, cycle-time analysis, bottleneck analysis, and run-at-rate demonstrations.
  • •Create and review APQP deliverables (process flows, PFMEA, control plans) and support gate evidence for FAI/PPAP readiness.
  • •Provide on-site technical support for machining and sheet-metal issues and participate in 8D/root-cause investigations for dimensional, process, and yield problems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering.
  • •4+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering, industrialization, supplier quality, or supplier development.
  • •Hands-on machining or sheet-metal fabrication experience.
  • •Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, AS9102 FAI, PFMEA, control plans, and process capability.
  • •Competent GD&T and drawing interpretation, with familiarity with aerospace alloys.
