Key Responsibilities

  • •Install building automation systems and temperature regulation systems, including conduits, panels, wiring, and terminal devices.
  • •Analyze job site layouts, anticipate challenges, gather materials, coordinate on-site work, and collaborate with other trades as needed.
  • •Manage inventory, company-provided equipment, and all related work documentation.
  • •Document work completed for each assignment (hours, progress, duration) and submit required reports within deadlines.
  • •Act as primary client point of contact and perform on-site maintenance by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing systems and equipment; maintain tools/equipment and observe health and safety standards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 to 5 years of experience in HVAC and controls (technical training is an asset).
  • •Strong ability to use Microsoft Office tools and comfort using mobile devices (smartphone/tablet).
  • •Knowledge of low-voltage electricity and electronics, including troubleshooting at the board level and direct digital control building control techniques.
  • •Participation (current or future) in ABC’s electrical apprenticeship program is an asset.
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months; experience with DDC control systems is an asset.
