Key Responsibilities

•Install building automation systems and temperature regulation systems, including conduits, panels, wiring, and terminal devices.
•Analyze job site layouts, anticipate challenges, gather materials, coordinate on-site work, and collaborate with other trades as needed.
•Manage inventory, company-provided equipment, and all related work documentation.
•Document work completed for each assignment (hours, progress, duration) and submit required reports within deadlines.
•Act as primary client point of contact and perform on-site maintenance by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing systems and equipment; maintain tools/equipment and observe health and safety standards.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 to 5 years of experience in HVAC and controls (technical training is an asset).
•Strong ability to use Microsoft Office tools and comfort using mobile devices (smartphone/tablet).
•Knowledge of low-voltage electricity and electronics, including troubleshooting at the board level and direct digital control building control techniques.
•Participation (current or future) in ABC’s electrical apprenticeship program is an asset.
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months; experience with DDC control systems is an asset.
