Job Summary

Lead complex data analytics work across the Collections organization by building reporting, analytics, metrics, and KPIs that translate business needs into data-driven decisions. Design and improve dashboards, reports, and processes, perform ad-hoc and trend analyses, and analyze large datasets to uncover patterns and opportunities. Serve as a strategic thought partner to stakeholders while mentoring less experienced data analysts and applying analytics best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead complex data analytics engagements, including requesting access to data, recommending/designing test strategies, and documenting results.
•Scope and deliver analytics work across multiple departments by understanding analytic opportunities.
•Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, metrics, KPIs, and data visualizations to enable data-driven decision-making.
•Perform ad-hoc analysis and present findings clearly to key stakeholders; develop trend analyses and analytical models.
•Provide feedback and coaching to other data analysts and support less experienced staff while researching and implementing analytics best practices.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
•Typically 6+ years in banking/financial services and typically 6+ years of data analytics experience.
•Advanced proficiency with analytics tools and languages such as SAS, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Excel, and Power BI; ability to write complex SQL queries.
•Strong ability to analyze and present insights and recommendations from complex qualitative and quantitative datasets.
•Experience with collections metrics/reporting standards and advanced data discovery (e.g., exploring system tables).
