Key Responsibilities

  • •Support end-to-end delivery of US HNAH and Group stress testing activities, including CCAR and HSBC Global stress tests, within Treasury Finance.
  • •Execute and/or support model runs and results production for balance sheet and P&L components, producing outputs across retail and wholesale revenue streams.
  • •Perform analysis of stress test outputs (variance analysis, sensitivities, trend reviews) and prepare clear governance-ready commentary, presentations, and documentation.
  • •Lead Review & Challenge (R&C) activities, including reasonableness/completeness checks, adherence to standards, closure of follow-up, and coordination for governance sign-offs.
  • •Support regulatory submission readiness and production of submissions (e.g., FRY-14A and FRY-14Q PPNR), evidence collation, audit interactions, and remediation of findings.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrable experience in an analytical role within a bank or large financial services firm, preferably in Treasury, Finance, Capital Planning, FP&A, or Risk (with preference for CCAR experience).
  • •Experience delivering time-sensitive analytical outputs with strong attention to detail and governance discipline.
  • •Proven ability to produce regulator/senior management-ready documentation and maintain a robust audit trail.
  • •Experience working across multiple stakeholders and managing dependencies under tight deadlines.
  • •Bachelor’s degree required in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or other quantitative discipline).
