Job Summary

Prepare wafers for experimentation and operate reactors to run thin-film processes under limited supervision. Use scanning electron microscopy and other metrology tools to analyze samples, record process conditions and observations, and perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting. Interface with requestors, create/edit process recipes, prepare cross-section samples for SEM/TXRF/TEM workflows, and support process optimization to improve quality and efficiency in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare wafers for experimentation (wafer prep/cleaning), load wafers, set up the reactor, and evaluate process system performance.
•Operate reactors to perform thin-film processes under limited supervision and perform basic troubleshooting during tool operation.
•Record process conditions and experimental observations; prepare graphs and tables summarizing basic analysis of results.
•Interface with requestors to understand requirements, communicate results, and create/edit process recipes on the process tool.
•Prepare cross-section samples for SEM analysis, learn metrology tools (e.g., CD-SEM and thin-film/particle measurement), and follow procedures to submit wafers for processing (TXRF, SEM, TEM, etc.).
