Lead the global desalination practice by setting and executing strategic direction across municipal, industrial, mining, energy, and water security markets. Drive business development, major project pursuits, technical innovation, and strategic partnerships while ensuring delivery excellence and sustainable growth across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. Collaborate across engineering, consulting, program management, and operations; oversee technical and engineering reviews; and build capability, talent, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead AECOM’s global water leadership efforts by advocating and delivering growth in desalination.
•Develop and coordinate global desalination market strategy, including seawater desalination, technologies, and emerging trends.
•Direct and execute desalination-related work as project director/design manager/technical lead; oversee technical and engineering reviews during pursuits.
•Develop major pursuit capture strategies and provide oversight aligned to major desalination opportunities.
•Deliver on largest water infrastructure projects as Design Manager/Design Director and ensure MPD delivery suite/tools are implemented, while monitoring performance across projects.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering; Environmental, Civil or Chemical preferred.
•Several years of leadership experience in water engineering or professional services.
•Extensive knowledge of the global desalination market, including desalination technologies, project delivery models, and emerging trends.
•Proven experience delivering desalination (or similar water/wastewater) project/program development, planning, design, and implementation internationally.
•Strong client relationships and industry recognition through relevant water and desalination associations, publications, and presentations.
