Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop procurement strategies by partnering with internal stakeholders to understand needs.
  • •Influence engineering design decisions that support a high-performing supply plan and drive sound make-vs-buy choices across the product lifecycle.
  • •Manage supplier contracts, including expediting, reacting to demand changes, and ensuring performance to obligations.
  • •Maintain master data in MRP to ensure accurate demand signals and acceptable line of balance with supply.
  • •Lead supplier performance improvement using scorecards and leading indicators, coordinating with engineering and quality to improve quality, cost, service levels, delivery, pricing, lead times, payment, and risk compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations, or supply chain management, or 9+ years in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience sourcing high-mix medium-volume custom parts and assemblies, including developing and executing sourcing strategy.
  • •Proven ability to negotiate agreements and statements of work and manage supplier performance to delivery and contract obligations.
  • •Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • •Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and purchasing/planning functions, with experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., AS9100/FAA) preferred.
