Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate new parts and repair existing systems using welding processes; assist maintenance before/during/after production.
  • •Communicate equipment malfunctions, corrective actions, and quality problems through departmental channels.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance inspections, report findings to the supervisor, and take appropriate action.
  • •Assist maintenance team members with rebuilds, installs, and general projects throughout the facility.
  • •Complete required paperwork, reports, and forms; test and inspect welded structures for quality assurance.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to weld using GTAW, SMAW, and GMAW processes, primarily stainless steel GTAW.
  • •Ability to design, read, and interpret blueprints (including rough drafts).
  • •Two-year program in fabrication or welding, or 2 years of verifiable experience as a fabricator.
  • •Experience identifying industry-standard parts and ability to use hand tools and trade-type tools.
  • •Willingness to work overtime and independently or as part of a safe, efficient team.
