Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent geography knowledge and skills to students with strong subject, pedagogic, and interpersonal expertise.
  • •Plan lessons and learning opportunities that account for students’ individual needs, learning styles, and capabilities.
  • •Use ICT and new technologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning for all ages and attainment levels.
  • •Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and communicate openly and professionally with parents about progress and attainment.
  • •Support fair and consistent disciplinary practices, protect students from abuse, uphold confidentiality, and contribute to departmental and after-school activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and specialist subject knowledge as a Geography Teacher.
  • •Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Middle School.
  • •Demonstrate consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct.
  • •Maintain proper and professional regard for the school’s ethos, policies, and practices.
  • •Have an understanding of and adhere to policies regarding dress code, footwear, make up, and jewellery.
