Key Responsibilities

•Represent geography knowledge and skills to students with strong subject, pedagogic, and interpersonal expertise.
•Plan lessons and learning opportunities that account for students’ individual needs, learning styles, and capabilities.
•Use ICT and new technologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning for all ages and attainment levels.
•Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and communicate openly and professionally with parents about progress and attainment.
•Support fair and consistent disciplinary practices, protect students from abuse, uphold confidentiality, and contribute to departmental and after-school activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and specialist subject knowledge as a Geography Teacher.
•Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Middle School.
•Demonstrate consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct.
•Maintain proper and professional regard for the school’s ethos, policies, and practices.
•Have an understanding of and adhere to policies regarding dress code, footwear, make up, and jewellery.
