Key Responsibilities

  • •Interpret building and fire code requirements, including ICC and NFPA (IBC and NFPA 101).
  • •Review architectural drawings for building and fire code compliance.
  • •Design fire protection and life safety systems, including fire sprinkler, fire detection/alarm, mass notification, smoke management, and egress systems.
  • •Perform fire engineering calculations and analysis, including smoke modeling and evacuation analysis (from hand calculations to 3D computational modeling).
  • •Assist with commissioning, produce technical reports/specifications, and support quality control, project documentation, and mentoring.

Key Requirements
