Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees, providing practical and commercially focused HR advice across NBC News International.
  • •Coach managers on leadership and best-practice people management; identify people risks and partner on appropriate solutions.
  • •Lead employee relations matters end-to-end, ensuring fair handling and escalation to the VP where appropriate.
  • •Take ownership of HR program rollouts locally, including performance reviews, annual compensation and salary planning, benefits enrolment, and early careers initiatives.
  • •Supervise the HR Coordinator and oversee international HR operations, coordinating with Payroll, HR Operations, Legal, Global Mobility, and other specialist teams to ensure accurate delivery and compliance across jurisdictions.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Proven HR manager/business partner experience in a fast-paced complex organization, ideally in media or news.
  • •End-to-end employee relations experience, including investigations, performance management, and manager coaching.
  • •Experience supporting organizational change, talent initiatives, and workforce planning.
  • •Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices, with the ability to work effectively across multiple jurisdictions.
  • •Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams; CIPD qualified desired (not essential).
