Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and use real-time data to diagnose issues.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, handling required repairs.
  • •Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, working individually or with other technicians.
  • •Maintain complete daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude with a working knowledge of tools.
  • •Have experience performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Be able to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •Bring superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •EPA 608 certification is preferred (or able to obtain within 6-12 months); high school diploma, trade school certificate preferred.
