Key Responsibilities

  • •Wire, assemble, fit, and mount sub-assemblies/components and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment.
  • •Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specification using electrical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and work instructions.
  • •Perform assembly for test preparation and conduct power checking and final inspection to verify electrical/mechanical integrity and conformance to specs/codes.
  • •Inspect and test finished products to maintain quality standards and quantity/perfect quality requirements.
  • •Maintain job progress, communicate issues/part shortages, receive/put away material, prepare finished products for shipment, and support Lean/5S, cross-training, and equipment/work area upkeep.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum one year of experience in an assembly-related role using hand and/or power tools, or completion of a one-year Technical School diploma from an accredited institution.
  • •Experience in wiring/assembly environments (e.g., automotive repairs, construction, carpentry, or similar).
  • •Ability to follow manufacturing drawings and instructions, including wiring diagrams/schematics and power flow to install correct wires.
  • •Ability to use measuring tools, torque tolerance/hardware assembly, and manual/electric tools (e.g., drill press, press brake).
  • •Must lift 35 lbs regularly, work overtime as required, and communicate effectively in written and verbal formats while following health and safety practices.
