Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior technical leadership across network engineering, network automation, and public cloud environments.
  • •Contribute to traffic management strategy for private/hybrid/public cloud adoption and develop long-term network architecture scenarios.
  • •Architect, design, and deliver solutions enabling multi-CDN implementation and secure, scalable, repeatable, highly available systems.
  • •Develop standard automation templates and drive software development for Visa Infrastructure as Code (IaC) efforts across private/hybrid/multi-cloud environments and CDNs.
  • •Drive coordination and execution to mitigate cyber risk issues and emerging threats, collaborating with network architecture, cybersecurity, and operations teams.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 7+ years with an advanced degree, or 4+ years with a PhD, or 13+ years overall.
  • •Hands-on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development and deployment in hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) for CDN, load balancing, and proxy.
  • •4+ years of traffic management technology experience in public cloud, CDN, load balancing, and proxy, including Terraform framework development for automated deployments.
  • •Demonstrated experience with open-source IaC/automation tools including Terraform, Terragrunt, env0, Ansible, Python, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
  • •Expert knowledge of CDN infrastructure and services, plus experience with networking best practices and security (including firewalling/VPN).
