Job Summary

Serve as a Maintenance Test Pilot for the MH-6 helicopter, performing MTF, FTF, and MOC testing on customer MH-60M series aircraft. Execute flying and instrument tasks, complete initial and annual FAA second-class medical requirements, and undergo recurring annual flight evaluations with designated evaluators. Ensure Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) tasks are completed and maintain current instrument rating and medical qualifications while performing diagnostic testing using ground and in-flight equipment.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform MTF, FTF, and MOC testing on customer MH-60M series aircraft, including ground and in-flight diagnostic testing.
•Be proficient in flying operations of assigned rotary wing helicopters.
•Demonstrate instrument task proficiency on annual flight evaluations conducted by flight detachment evaluators.
•Complete initial and annual FAA Second Class flight physicals and participate in annual flight evaluations with an Instructor Pilot and Maintenance Test Flight Evaluator (MTFE) qualified in MDS.
•Ensure all Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) tasks required for assigned non-tactical base flight duties are accomplished.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. driver’s license.
•Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
•MELB qualified in the A/MH-6 aircraft.
•No less than 1,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command time, including at least 100 hours in the specific MDS with a minimum of 50 hours logged as an MTP.
•Hold and maintain an instrument rating on FAA Commercial Certificates and be capable of passing an FAA/Agency Second Class Medical Certificate.
