Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the platform foundation by designing, building, and maintaining resilient backend services and APIs across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • •Develop and own microservices in Golang, ensuring performance, observability, and maintainability.
  • •Define and implement clean API contracts (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) in collaboration with frontend engineers and platform architects.
  • •Evolve the data layer using relational (PostgreSQL), NoSQL (Cassandra), and streaming (Kafka/NATS) systems.
  • •Raise engineering quality through testable code, instrumentation from day one, design/code reviews, documentation, and mentoring peers.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of backend software engineering experience shipping and operating production services in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • •Strong proficiency in Golang with deep understanding and production-level experience.
  • •Hands-on distributed systems experience including microservices and event-driven architecture, with awareness of failure modes.
  • •3+ years working with Kubernetes, NATS, REST/gRPC/GraphQL APIs, AWS and/or GCP, and relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra).
  • •Experience with identity and access management at a systems level (authentication, authorization, JWTs, SAML, OIDC, multi-tenancy patterns).
