Job Summary

Serve as a site/region Subject Matter Expert and Category Manager to support an ERP transformation. Act as a liaison between the ERP Program and local partners, providing input on current-state processes, validating future-state designs, supporting requirements and UAT, and enabling training and post-deployment sustainment. Also drive category management by developing category strategies, supporting sourcing events and contract negotiations, managing supplier catalogues in SAP, and monitoring savings and contract performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a liaison between the ERP Program and local site/region partners to capture local knowledge and requirements.
•Provide input on current-state processes, problems, and improvement opportunities, and validate future-state process designs to meet local operational needs.
•Support requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, data migration validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
•Support category management by developing category strategies and plans, compiling sourcing events, and conducting contract negotiations through the contract management system.
•Manage supplier electronic catalogues in SAP and monitor/report contract performance and actual savings vs. projected targets.

Key Requirements

•Proven expertise in site- or region-specific operations, systems, and workflows.
•Strong supply management knowledge, including planning, sourcing, managing, and improving processes.
•Extensive experience in global sourcing, category management, RFx, and contract drafting in the mining sector.
•Well-developed contract drafting and communication skills, with interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
•Experience with SAP or Ariba implementations or process improvement initiatives is an asset.
