Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a liaison between the ERP Program and local site/region partners to capture local knowledge and requirements.
  • •Provide input on current-state processes, problems, and improvement opportunities, and validate future-state process designs to meet local operational needs.
  • •Support requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, data migration validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • •Support category management by developing category strategies and plans, compiling sourcing events, and conducting contract negotiations through the contract management system.
  • •Manage supplier electronic catalogues in SAP and monitor/report contract performance and actual savings vs. projected targets.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven expertise in site- or region-specific operations, systems, and workflows.
  • •Strong supply management knowledge, including planning, sourcing, managing, and improving processes.
  • •Extensive experience in global sourcing, category management, RFx, and contract drafting in the mining sector.
  • •Well-developed contract drafting and communication skills, with interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
  • •Experience with SAP or Ariba implementations or process improvement initiatives is an asset.
