Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver effective, timely, and cost-effective legal advice, support, governance, and compliance across relevant geographic regions.
  • •Support senior counsel with complex legal analysis, problem solving, research, guidance, and clear communication.
  • •Prepare for and support litigation/disputes, working with outside counsel and supervising as needed.
  • •Maintain matter and cost management databases and develop risk mitigation strategies based on legal risk and cost.
  • •Manage external legal service providers/vendors, proactively oversee legal risk/compliance, and share knowledge through training and guidance notes.

Key Requirements

  • •NQ to 3-year post-qualification experience in-house or in private practice.
  • •Strong commercial acumen with highly developed legal and analytical skills.
  • •Ability to interpret, structure, and communicate legal advice clearly with issue-spotting and risk-based judgment.
  • •Core contracting fundamentals including scope, risk allocation, indemnities, limitation of liability, variations/claims, termination, and dispute resolution.
  • •Basic disputes awareness, including how claims progress and how to support dispute strategy with stakeholders and external counsel.
