Key Responsibilities

  • •Build high-performance controller firmware for volatile and non-volatile memory systems.
  • •Evaluate, create, build, bench test, debug, and perform failure analysis for firmware for memory controllers and SSDs.
  • •Partner with multidisciplinary engineers to resolve product development issues across priorities.
  • •Triage failures and file bug reports; use AI-supported approaches to help isolate issues.
  • •Support and supervise junior engineers and technicians, including experience with team leadership (preferred/possible).

Key Requirements

  • •6-12 years of embedded firmware experience with storage/SSD (strong plus).
  • •Strong firmware design and debugging experience using assembly and C programming.
  • •Knowledge of mass storage interface protocols such as PCIe/NVMe; understanding storage interfaces including SATA or SAS (optional).
  • •Experience with ARM development tools and IDEs such as Eclipse.
  • •Experience with scripting languages, programming tools, and environments; ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.
