Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and work with auditors and tax advisors for the annual closing.
  • •Process accounts payable invoices and ensure high-quality, complete, accurate, and consistent accounting and financial data.
  • •Perform daily booking and reconciliation of bank transactions, including bank-related accounting topics.
  • •Carry out balance sheet reconciliations for active accruals, bank accounts, and other relevant balance sheet items.
  • •Validate planned vs. booked costs for the month-end and support reporting/reconciliation processes across brands, including coordination with the Shared Service Center in India for P2P topics.

Key Requirements

  • •A completed commercial qualification or a degree with a focus on finance/accounting, or a comparable qualification.
  • •Several years of relevant experience in financial accounting.
  • •Strong understanding of accounting relationships and ideally good knowledge of HGB.
  • •Experience with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • •Analytical skills and a careful approach to ensuring data quality; structured, hands-on, service-oriented work style.
