Mobile Diesel Technician II performs DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs for light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field setting. Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical/braking/cooling systems, engine electronics, diesel steering, transmissions, clutches, and other truck systems
•Inspect, test, and listen to equipment to diagnose malfunctions using handheld diagnostic tools and gauges; road test vehicles to verify repairs
•Manage parts inventory and operate the company-issued service truck, including pre-/post-trip inspections
•Communicate with clients to assess needs, provide information, resolve issues, and meet customer expectations

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 29.42 - 44.13 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of related field experience (or equivalent)
•Possess and provide a set of hand tools required to perform duties
•Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months
•Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain Driver Qualification File; must be 21+ years old
•Pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical
