Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems; use test instruments and road tests to identify malfunctions.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on a company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Maintain and operate the service vehicle, conduct safety checks, and complete pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document repair work and upload photos/parts/findings on repair orders using the company-issued iOS device and TRAIT application; complete DOT and other required forms.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3+ years of related experience (or alternative combination such as 5+ years experience).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply required hand tools; participate in and complete required company training.
  • •Must be able to pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.
  • •Current valid DOT medical card (or DOT physical if the medical card is expiring within 4 months); safe driver with a valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a Driver Qualification File.
