Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical oversight of Qiddiya’s core digital product streams in alignment with target architecture and long-term technology vision.
  • •Define and enforce engineering principles for reusability, scalability, resiliency, reliability, observability, maintainability, security, and performance.
  • •Review, challenge, and validate technical decisions, with clear governance and ownership over architecture and engineering direction.
  • •Build reusable patterns, components, services, APIs, and engineering guidelines to enable scalable product delivery across Qiddiya assets.
  • •Lead and manage Staff Software Engineers embedded in product streams, setting expectations for technical governance, code quality, and vendor challenge.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in senior engineering leadership roles within large-scale digital platforms and high-traffic consumer environments.
  • •Strong hands-on background to challenge detailed engineering, architecture, integration, infrastructure, and implementation decisions.
  • •Proven experience leading engineering teams in a complex multi-vendor or system integrator delivery model.
  • •Experience governing reusable digital platforms, shared services, APIs, and scalable product architectures.
  • •Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, DevSecOps, cloud-native architecture, observability, resiliency, reliability engineering, and secure-by-design delivery.
