Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspecting and reporting on building related matters, including causation reports on defects and damages to buildings and associated structures
  • •Providing technical advice and detailed scope of works and cost estimates in accordance with Australian Standards and Building Code of Australia
  • •Dealing with a variety of stakeholders at any given time, including insureds, general public, builders and insurers
  • •Documenting and leading a diverse range of projects in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • •Collaborating with team members to ensure high quality outcomes and client satisfaction

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably structural engineering)
  • •Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or National Engineering Register (NER) qualified
  • •At least 3 years' experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer
  • •A thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards
  • •Experience working in a fast-paced environment; preferably within the insurance industry
