Key Responsibilities

  • •Forecast demand, evaluate capacity, and manage supply signals to adjust incoming materials.
  • •Track high-risk components and monitor supplier delivery performance.
  • •Communicate clearly and rapidly to influence vendor decisions and senior leadership.
  • •Interpret engineering drawings and BOMs; develop supplier network to minimize cost and lead time.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year experience in engineering, supply chain, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations management, material cost control, or master production scheduling; or 4+ years experience in those areas.
  • •Experience working in technical sourcing, procurement, or planning (1+ years preferred).
  • •Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machines (e.g., mills, lathes, waterjet, laser cutters, sheet metal fabrication).
  • •Familiarity with material finishes and coatings (e.g., paint, powder coat, anodize, heat treatment).
  • •Experience with MRP/ERP and managing bill of materials, work orders, and purchase orders.
