Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and inspect electrical works across LV/HV networks, street lighting, power distribution, and telecom ducts for infrastructure projects.
  • •Review and approve electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements according to project and authority requirements.
  • •Ensure compliance with DEWA, Etisalat, DU, RTA, DM, and other authority standards, including cable routing, trenching, ducting, and manhole installations.
  • •Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems; witness testing procedures such as insulation resistance, continuity, and load tests.
  • •Monitor contractor performance/progress, manage NCRs with corrective actions, and support authority inspections and final handover documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • •Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical supervision for road and infrastructure projects within the UAE.
  • •Proven ability to oversee installation and testing of electrical systems for street lighting, traffic signals, and related works.
  • •Familiarity with UAE electrical codes and standards (DEWA, ADDC, RTA).
