Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently design, build, and maintain complex modules for streaming services in Search Infrastructure.
  • •Drive end-to-end execution of components/initiatives using sound engineering practices and quality/operational standards.
  • •Operate deployed services on AWS across multiple regions, primarily using ECS/EC2 with supporting AWS services.
  • •Improve performance and resiliency using caching/eviction, retry/dead-letter recovery, and scaling policies; measure impact with concrete data.
  • •Troubleshoot and root-cause production issues, participate in incident response, and drive follow-up improvements; contribute to architecture discussions and mentor others.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 107,000 - 157,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hands-on software development building and operating production services.
  • •Strong production experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, or strong backend engineering in another language with ability to ramp on Node.js.
  • •Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, especially ECS and EC2, and AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and OpenSearch, including multi-environment deployment.
  • •Strong algorithms and mathematics skills for reasoning about complexity, data structures, and performance trade-offs.
  • •Experience with high-traffic distributed systems (e.g., REST or WebSocket), JSON or Protobuf, and basic observability (logging, metrics, tracing).
