Key Responsibilities

  • •Support EMEA direct tax compliance deadlines, including preparing and reviewing tax return work-papers and tax returns.
  • •Assist with quarterly and yearly tax reporting under US-GAAP (FAS 109), including true-ups, and review EMEA tax packages and FIN 48 positions.
  • •Analyze transactions and help ensure appropriate transfer pricing documentation, including preparation and review of intercompany agreements.
  • •Assist with managing outsourced transfer pricing projects and liaise with external advisors as needed.
  • •Support tax audits, acquisition integration efforts, and withholding tax issue management; assist with local tax planning initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in law, accounting, or economics; a post-graduate in tax or similar is beneficial.
  • •1–2 years of experience in corporate tax matters gained in an MNC or Big 4.
  • •Basic understanding of US international tax principles.
  • •Basic knowledge of US GAAP tax accounting (can be learned on the job).
  • •Strong communication skills to explain tax matters clearly to management.
