Job Summary

Build and operate agentic AI workflows as a forward-deployed engineer inside Xero’s Internal AI Accelerator Squad. You’ll co-design and operationalise high-stakes AI agents from discovery to production, defining patterns, guardrails, and tooling for safe automation. Initially focus on orchestrating AI agents with tools like Claude, Gemini, and MCP, integrating with enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Workday, Slack, NetSuite), and creating evaluation and monitoring frameworks for performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

•Co-design and operationalise agentic AI workflows that remove manual toil across internal business teams.
•Lead delivery of AI agents from discovery to production as a technical partner and evangelist.
•Define patterns, guardrails, and tooling for intelligent automation to create a blueprint for safe AI adoption.
•Design and iterate on AI agents and workflow orchestrations using tools like Claude, Gemini, and MCP.
•Build evaluation and monitoring frameworks to measure performance and ensure the safety of AI-native workflows.

Salary: CAD 180,000 - 210,000

•Systems-thinking approach to design AI agents with security, auditability, and controlled blast radius.
•Partnering with non-technical stakeholders to translate business pain points into technical solution designs.
