Job Summary

Safely and efficiently move tractor trailers in the yard and handle finished product under the supervision of a Warehouse Supervisor. Operate tractor/trailer trucks, straight body trucks, forklifts, floor jacks, and pallet jacks; perform DOT and company pre-trip inspections and maintain logs. Maintain exterior dock areas, ensure loads are properly secured with seals and paperwork, and support inventory control and warehouse housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely move tractor trailers in the yard and handle finished product.
•Operate tractor/trailer trucks and straight body trucks between dock areas and other locations as needed.
•Perform pre-trip safety inspections, maintain logs/records, and keep daily trip and yard inventory records.
•Maintain exterior dock areas and support housekeeping (sweeping, debris removal, and light maintenance).
•Inspect secured loads on drop trailers, affix trailer seals, place paperwork (e.g., bill of lading) on dropped trailers, and assist with product transfer when necessary.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 22.5 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Maintain a valid driver license with a good driving record.

•Perform DOT and/or company-required pre-trip safety inspections and keep logs and records.
•Be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
