Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-quality primary healthcare, including health assessments, vaccinations, and monitoring/managing patients in a low-dependency ward setting.
  • •Deliver flexible clinical coverage across SQLD Defence Health Centres for planned leave, unexpected absences, and periods of increased demand.
  • •Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals.
  • •Support Defence members with injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care.
  • •Remain available during business hours for site coverage needs and work remotely when no coverage is required.

Key Requirements

  • •Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • •Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or a military setting.
