Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver and coordinate design packages on complex infrastructure programmes.
  • •Manage and lead diverse major infrastructure projects, ensuring quality standards and delivery to time and budget.
  • •Interrogate outputs from multidisciplinary disciplines and guide clients, local authorities, and stakeholders through technical challenges.
  • •Oversee project documentation, technical reports, and design submissions aligned to Irish and European standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Irish National Framework Qualification Level 8 (Honours Degree) or higher in Civil Engineering (or related discipline), or an equivalent international degree recognised under the Washington Accord.
  • •3-5 years of relevant experience delivering major roads, major public transport, light rail, rail, or enabling works projects (or transferable experience from water, energy, or utilities).
  • •Strong knowledge of Irish and European design standards, planning processes, and statutory requirements.
  • •Proven track record leading project teams and delivering to programme and budget.
  • •Experience preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, specifications, and tender documents; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
