Job Summary

Lead and coordinate project delivery from initial planning and design through commissioning, acting as the Contracting Entity’s representative. Own schedule, interfaces, cost, variations, contracts, and risk; develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan and RACI matrix; chair design review meetings; manage change control and monthly progress reporting. Execute NEC/ECC-specific duties including contractor programme review, compensation events, and assessment/certification of payments, while driving improvements to delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage project delivery end-to-end from planning and design through completion and commissioning, ensuring time, budget, and specification targets are met.
•Oversee schedule, interfaces, cost, variations, contracts, and risk; maintain the Project Execution Plan and update the project risk register.
•Coordinate project activities across technical teams, manage design consultants/external service providers, chair design reviews, and communicate design approvals and changes.
•Maintain and update project governance tools including the RACI matrix and manage the change control process effectively.
•Perform NEC/ECC-specific duties including reviewing contractor programme submissions, handling compensation events, and assessing/certifying payments.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction/infrastructure, including aviation or similarly complex projects.
•Strong experience delivering construction/asset projects on time and within budget, including in a live airport environment.
•Proven ability to operate as a client-side Project Manager managing diverse stakeholders and improving delivery practices.
•Demonstrated experience developing and implementing best-practice project management policies and standards.
•Working knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contracts.
